Yesterday I spent the day strolling through Southampton, NY, which I have to say is probably the most adorable, quaint and posh town I’ve ever been in. The people are so well-dressed and so carefree. I was lucky enough to encounter a sweets shop where I happily indulged in sour belts and delicious peanut butter chip covered pretzels. Who knew that Billy Joel even visits that store regularly?! Unfortunately I didn’t bump into him this time… maybe on my next visit.

If you know me at all, you probably know that I have a huge obsession for Tory Burch. Well, I added to my collection yesterday! Yes, I am now the proud owner of hot pink jelly Tory Burch ballet flats. I know, I know, but let’s be honest… I needed them. It’s true. I actually, really and truly needed them. Well, maybe not, but at least that helps me sleep at night, right?!

The next couple of days will include lots of fishing, relaxation, a Mets game in the city, shopping and lots and lots of food. Unfortunately the weather’s been pretty hazy, rainy and cold since we’ve been here. Hoping that the weather improves and the sun starts shining. Weatherman says tomorrow should be in the mid-80s, so that’s a good sign! Keeping my fingers crossed…

About to start an intense Scrabble match. Wish me luck!
